Easiest chili honey grilled cheese recipe with minimum ingredients.
This is the grilled cheese of your dreams. you don't need any fancy cheeses or bread. just simple ingredients with the best flavours from some Thai chilli pepper and honey. I would call this the ultimate grilled cheese for a midnight snack or as a side to my favorite comfort soup/stew.
4slicesof bread of your choicesoft sourdough recommended or wholewheat bread.
1tbspbutter/butter spread.
4-8slicesof cheese of your choice.I added tasty cheese, string cheese, shredded mozzarella .
1/2cupshredded mozzarella.
1tsphoney
1red thai chili pepper chopped.
Instructions
Add butter to both sides of the bread.
Now add all the cheese,then drizzle of honey, and chili on top.
Add another slice of bread that's been buttered on top.Gently lift it up and place it onto a hot/ preheated skillet with some more butter.press and cook for 3 minutes and then flip and repeat.you can cover it with a lid too. Heat should be medium-low the whole time.
Once you see your bread is toasted and it has a crispy crust and cheese is oozing out that's when you know it's done.
