Easy Homemade Garlic Butter Naan Recipe – Soft & Flavorful Flatbread
Garlic Butter Naan
These soft and fluffy butter garlic naans are so addictive.and with only 5 ingredients it can not get easier than this.
Equipment
- 1 cast iron tawa
- 1 tandoor optinal
Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour.
- 2 tbsp yogurt greek, full fat, natural.
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt or to taste
For butter garlic
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp coriander chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt and sugar
Instructions
- In a bowl add flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda. mix well
- add yogurt and warm milk and knead a soft dough.
- Leave it to rest for 10-15 minutes.
- Then knead for 5 minutes again.divide into equal portions.
- Roll it out. any shape you like. not too thin or thick.
- heat up the skillet or tawa and cook the naans 2-3 minutes each side.until fluffy and brown.
- once ready brush some garlic butter.
Garlic butter recipe
- In a pot add butter and garlic and cook until fragrant.add coriander, choice of seasonings, or simply just salt.
- Take it off the heat and its ready to use on the naan.
- Serve and enjoy.
Notes
TIPS:
- Make sure to knead patiently to get a soft dough to work with.
- To keep them soft for long after cooking you can put them in a nice basket with a clean kitchen towel and cover them to serve later.
- You can store them in the freezer to use later. use parchment papers to seperare each naan.
